More about SousLeSens (SLS)

SousLeSens is a suite of tools specially designed to navigate , compare, visualize, and enrich SKOS vocabularies and OWL ontologies. It is free under licence MIT and available GitHub repository. Knowledge Graph representations and queries, triple stores generation and management. SousLeSens(SLS), developed by Claude Fauconnet is the engine and toolbox to setup our information methodology in a flexible and sustainable direction: common standard framework.

Generic use case actions
Unify business conceptsCreate ontologies base on a top level ontology
Elaborate Knowledge graphs from heterogenous(tabular/relational) sourcesCreate ontologies from data models and instance(import tabular data)
Standards semantic digitizationIntegration (from rdf or xls or pdf) / Comparison / merge
Linked data Mapping on sql tables
SQL generator
QUery multiple technical sources from domain ontologies

That is the type of use cases that SLS has the ambition to resolve and the SLS perimeter can be resumed by next picture:

Use graphs permits to break tables rigidity unconsensistencies and manage complexity. There is already lot of tools that using graph technologies and features of Web semantic for building graphs. (Neo4j, Graph DB …)

The ambition of SousLeSens is to use Top Level Ontology to build custom Ontology which differents use cases recognize themselves and standardize it to standards. Standards and Top Level Ontology permits to share and make understable the custom ontology by the rest of the world and permits to make understable by others their lingo and build Knowledge and data models reusable by everyone instead of creating specific use cases model unusable by others. Linked Data permits to englobe data model already created and not recreate from scratch datamodel and their specific environnement. Sous Le Sens has the ambition to add meaning to data and make it understable for everyone.
